Hi my husband died on April 11th from injuries that he sustained from a fire in our condo.  We've been separated for 2 years, and we finally came to a point where we were talking about reconciliation.  The cause of the fire has not been determined, but they did rule out accidental, I didn't even know about the fire until it was in the paper the next day.  I also found out he had a woman and her daughter living with him, and he asked her to move out, when I agreed to a reconciliation.   A friend of mine told me that I have to stop being mad for my own well being and she's right. I'm not mad at Ken, I however am having an issue forgiving the other woman. A week before the fire she started working at my office, I didn't know, and I can't even remember what she looked like, but she knew who I was.  She was slightly injured in the fire, however my husband had burns 80% of his body.  I was telling my father in law the other day, as I was driving, I saw something that was beautiful, and thought I've got to call Ken (my husband) to tell him about it, and then I realized he's gone. He's not coming back.  My phone won't ring in the middle of the night when he is on a alcoholic binge.  I left because of his drinking, and he finally went to rehab, and was sober.  It's 4th of July and I think back to last year, when we wore silly hats, and watched fireworks in the middle of the street.  So, I thought, I'd put my thoughts here.  Does anyone else feel that way.  I was looking forward to a day off from work, but, then it hit me, its the 4th of July.
