I am very sorry for your loss yet welcome you to a place where of understanding your pain. I lost my husband to lung cancer when we were beginning our retirement. To lose him with young children would be unbearable. I suffered from my loss too, as have others with their personal circumstances . Together with walk supporting each other. Sharon

I'm so very sorry for your loss. This grief journey can only be taken from one moment to the next....my husband passed 3rd July, 2014 of Leukemia, I came to DS shortly after for support. your loss is felt here. I lost my Clint June 3rd and it was unexpected. How extremely hard it must be on you with 3 young children. I know your heart feels as if it has been ripped from your body. This site has helped. I had to let a couple really close friends go because they were just cruel and they don't understand how it feels. People here have similar losses and they feel or have felt what you may be feeling right now. Write when you have the strength. We are hear to listen.

I truly am sorry you have a need to be here but glad you found this site. It is the hardest thing you'll ever do. The main thing is to not look at tomorrow. It will take care of itself. Let yourself take it a minute at a time. Just always do what you need to do for you. There will be folks around who mean well trying to advice you, but only you know what you need. Take your time and let yourself cry hurt and grieve when you need to. Don't let the world dictate to you how to go thru this. we are all different. You do have your children who are now looking to you to fill that gap they are missing but in doing that don't forget you. So come here as often as you need to. But also know that one day when your ready and healed enough to, you will also move forward like others here. There is a future that right now you may not see but it's there. You just have to get thru these dark days first and it will take time.

Yes it sucks.
Take care of yourself. My husband passed away from a brain aneurysm 9 months ago. We had 4 children together 13, 10, 8 and 5.

So sorry for your loss. This journey is unlike anything I have ever experienced or could imagine. As has already been said, be patient and kind to yourself. grieving is exhausting. And yes, know you can always come here for understanding. Take care. Kate.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is okay to say you hate this new life you have been thrown into. We have all felt that way and said the exact same thing. Eventually, the new life becomes better I promise, it just takes time, patience and grieving. Just know we all understand.
