Well I have done a lot of thinking and have decided to rescue a black horse. I lost two horses this past year in addition to my husband and Aunt, my original horse was black, he lived to 35. We have two now and three won't be that much more difficult, I think it will bring a new joy in my life. Decisions come hard now but feel good about this one. Trying to move forward.

I think that's wonderful, but I'm an animal lover. I tend to stick to dogs
as horses are a little large for where I live, but they are beautiful animals. I was just talking about adopting another dog at dinner since I only have one who's 12, but I'm not sure he would welcome a new addition especially if it was a puppy. I'm excited for you. Would you post some pictures? Sharon

Thanks all for support. I am looking to get one, just posted it on Craigs list, and posted with rescue sites. I have two now so one more will not be a lot more work or expense, have barn and pasture. I know it will lift my spirits.

Being a horse lover and having three myself, I know how exciting it is to have a new addition to your horse family. I too have a pasture and barn and one more horse doesn't make it that much more work or money. Horses can lift a person's spirits. Best wishes.
