A little more than 2 months ago I lost my Maria, I do my best to keep my mind occupied. My Girl was a very talented costume designer...So after she passed, I gave some of her costumes to my brother for his production of the Addams Family. The opening night was last night...I was enjoying the show, and then one of the dancers came out wearing one of her gowns...seeing that dress dancing and flowing along the stage, both made me start to well up, but at the same time I was very proud to think that my girl is back in her element and being honored on stage...as I have written before if you didn't know, my Maria held a Masters of Theater Arts ,and loved being on stage....My little brother gave me a great memory. I know I'm in the early stages of mourning....but I never know when something is going to make me cry....just wanted to share a moment. Thanks. Jon.
After eight months I am still getting hit with little things that bring up the water. Just proves how much they will always mean to us. Take care.

I know that had to be painful for you to see but I can also
understand how proud you would be to see something she
created as the dress moved across the stage. I am certain
Maria would have appreciated the fact you were there to
see it.
My wife passed 8 months ago today. She was a talented
artist and her drawings were absolutely beautiful. I look at
them at home and in the homes of family and friends and
elsewhere and my mind wanders to watching her as she
sat and drew for hours at a time. I think about the fact that
each piece of art was created by her hands and based
upon her talent. That brings tears but it also makes me
very proud of her.
