I do understand how you feel though about not having someone there when you get home to discuss your day with. One of the things I miss the most is not having that person there that loves you and gives you the support and understanding you need when you've had a bad day at work.
To get up and go to work has given me a purpose so I was glad to go back.

I had some moments when I had to seek comfort in a quiet office, and a couple of times I had to leave and go home early because I just couldn't function ... the grief was overwhelming. But I got through it. Things have gotten easier. It's been a bit over a year for me and I believe it will get better for you also.
Best of luck and big hugs.

At one time for me it was very scary of how I was going to continue on without him, but I am and it is OK.
I'm sure your coworkers will welcome you back with open arms. Don't answer any questions you don't want to, nor talk about anything you don't want to. My favorite place to break down and cry was and still is the bathroom. My hubby and I carpooled, and I still expect him to pull up at 5 to get me.
I hope you have a good day. One breathe at a time, one day at a time.
Blessings,
Sharon
The hardest part is not having anyone to call - to tell about the "little things". I think I cried every day on the way to work and oftentimes on the way home - but at work I was fine - it was a good place to be.
