Wendy - Here's a BIG H-U-G for you ! Don't we all need those?! I know it is hard to see your dad having problems at his age, because most people over 90 are not able to overcome these. My dad lived with us for 3 yrs. after my mom's death, and it was hard to see him going down. However, it is human nature, and it will happen. Just show him as much love as you can and try to take one day at a time with this situation. Glad you have "hugging neighbors" -- I have great neighbors also and this is worth a million dollars. I'm in the same situation. My dad at 85 is going downhill fast and it's so painful to watch.

I need more than a hug! I feel like I need to be held for a good long time. With all the humans in the world it's strange that we don't often get the interaction that we need/want.

I'm telling you, they should have hug machines in the malls. $1 a 'stinkin hug. Unconditional, big hugs (I like ones with men wearing sweatshirts) - I'm willing to pay $5 for one of those. Now it's not like prostitution - really isn't. It's going to a place where there are no games, no restrictions, just unconditional (when you pay the money) hugs. I guess though that you would have to get ''dressed'' and be up to go to the mall hug machine. Right now it's cooooold in Florida (really) and I'm feeling rotten, in bed, no makeup, and - well look au natural - maybe they can have home hug machines????? Maybe we can start something???? Awwwwww.

I want to thank each and every one of my DS family that has given me such great hugs. I esp got a kick out of Ralph's big grizzly bear hug.
