Hi everyone,
My computer broke down about 2 weeks ago, so I have not been on here.
I am at apt office right now. I have sure really missed not reading and trying to give my imput on some questions.
I was saying before that I was to have a big foot/ankle surgery. (I was planning on getting a orthonics,for my previously injured foot, but my foot Dr. said it was worse, and instead of a orthonics, I needed surgery.)
I was not ready for a major surgery, after losing my husband 1 yr ago, and my adult sone living with me, & not working.
I did go to a Orthopedic Surgeon last week, and got a 2nd opinion. He said I definitely need the surgery, but not as "out-patient", as other Dr. said, but 5 days in the hospital.
I am scheduled to have it next week, 10/16 in a bigger city about 25 miles away.) You may have remember that after my husband's funeral last aug., 2012, My son & i have not been allowed to see my daughter and 2 Grandkids ages 10 yrs and 13 yrs). She is in a abusive rrelationship, and althought, she does not live far away, she is not allowed to.
now my son with bi-polar is having more problems, as I know he is afraid his mom will now die, as his Dad did. (since I am in my 70's) I have sent a pretty card to my daughter & asked her if she could come to hospital next week, but no reply.
My son does not have insurance, but is on meds prescribed by a Psychiastrist he sees every 3 months. In the last month, he has gotten progressively more confused, but claims nothing is wrong. He is not working, but does art work. He was planning on selling some, but keeps forgetting to get it ready to sell. (I feel I have to almost do things for him). He needs a physical, as he is over 325 lbs. When he tell his Psychiastrist that the meds make him very drowey, and can't work, the Dr. says "good, that is what they should be doing. He has been on them since Jan. 2013. I think he should be checked by a different Dr., but without ins, what can I do? I am getting less SS now.
I am seriously considering postponing my foot surgery, as I can NOt have it, with my son not feeling well. He would be driving my car, which is not a problem, but it is, if he is so forgetful.
Please advise me. I wish I could see my daughter, & grandkids, and my son would feel so much better if that would happen. I know my son-in-law, and she is AFRAID of him.
I need my surgery, but I need my daughter & kids, and I need my son healthy.
Please say a prayer, & be my friend and give me a hug, if you wish to, that is. i have reallty missed being on the computer. I need to go home Thanks for your concern you have showed me in the past.

As for your daughter you may have to get your foot fixed before working on that. God will provide. Sharon
You need to be as comfortable stress wise as possible, for your surgery. You have to have it, to continue being and doing what you do.
To be honest I am concerned about your son and your car. But maybe that can be worked out.

I have my own bionic ankle, now a bionic arm to go with it.
