I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

Back in the nineties I lost my first husband, my father and my best friend all within 2 years. I began to think everyone in my life was going to die. Of course, they didn't, and I was able to get through it. We had a baby born into the family just after the third loss and that made me think the family will indeed go on. And it has.
I pray for your comfort and peace. Share your feelings here and we will be supportive to you when you need a lift. I sure have benefited from the support of this group, over 3 years. Peace to you!
terminal 2 days ago. My wife made promise to be strong during her battle with cancer and in her memory I am putting one foot in front of the other. Is it painful, and sad of course. I watched my wife fight with dignity and am going to try and honour her memory by carrying on in my life with dignity regardless of the pain I must endure. Wishing you peace. I am truly sorry. Gerald
My thoughts are with you. Big big hug. Viviane
My husband inspired me every day then.........and still inspires me every day now.
My brother - same thing
They are in my heart and I long to see them again on the other side.
For awhile I simply could not get out of a fetus position.
One day I got up and decided to get stronger for those who needed me. It is not an easy journey, but we are traveling that road one step at a time.
Warm hug
