Its been almost 5 months for me, today I finally felt a little better, maybe turning the corner. My son and his wife visited, think that might have helped, I have been in Florida away from home for about 6 weeks.

At 11 months, weekends are still difficult for me. I get restless and bored. I am trying to find things to keep me occupied, but it's hard to fill 48+ hours.

I have never liked weekends. Still don't. I used to volunteer to work weekends, We never went out to eat or anything. So just another day. But I don't have to work as hard anymore on weekends.

oh weekends. My husband died at home on a Sunday afternoon. so every weekend I just about go crazy. finally the last 3 weekends I forced myself to get away from the house if only for a couple of hours. I go for a drive or walk or maybe to the mall. It isn't much but I do feel like it is starting to help a little bit. it might not last but at least it's a start. God Bless

Weekends are still very difficult for me to get through. My husband and I used to go out, go shopping, see a movie, just spend time together. The winter has been extremely awful, so that adds to the level of lonliness. Hoping as the weather improves I'll be getting out more and finding ways to occupy the weekends.

I've never liked weekends, especially Sundays. I seem to be able to fill my time easier during the week. If I decide to do volunteering, I thought about weekends. But on occasion when there is a craft show or outing of some sort, it is on the weekend and that I would do. Really everyday is a struggle for me. The constant search for something to do that gets me with people. I do best with people otherwise, I get very anxious.

I dont have any kids and my step kids are with their mom now. I spend every weekend with friends... I try to make as many plans as I can because staying in bed or at home is not what he would have wanted for me. I am sure he is proud of you!
