We met years later working at the same place. We knew each other in grammar school and high school. we met our high school sweethearts and married. We were both married to them for fourteen years. When we met, our children were grown. Both of us were so lonely, me not dating for a year, so I was eager. He asked me for a date at a Christmas party on December 18th, and I said New Year's Eve. Of course he wanted to go our before then. How excited we both were and on that night 36 years ago, It was magic. I have to share that we went to a party and afterward satisfied my pent up sexual feelings like never before. We married seven years later, because I wanted to wait until my last child was grown. We took her off to U of Iowa and then we started planning our wedding. My son was my escort, my daughter, my maid of honor and my granddaughter was my flower girl. He was the Father my children never had. My first husband abandoned me with four children. He was there to walk my daughters down the aisle, was best man at my son's wedding and there when their children were born. He couldn't say no to them and they lavished him with kisses, hugs and gifts. His children (5) rarely came to visit, or do anything for him. They were heavily influenced by their Mother who felt he still belong to her, even though she had married two times after him. He was my second chance at happiness. I didn't know then that he would also be a blessing to my family. They loved him dearly and always said "That's my Dad." God bless us all.
