My husband's birthday

Today is my husband's b-day. Last May 18 he turned 60 and I had to call 911 because he was unresponsive. That was the beginning of a summer of hospital stays. He lost his battle with liver disease in October. This will be a long, sad summer for me I'm thankful for finding DS last fall.

I know this is a tough day......the same thing sort of happened to my husband as well on his last birthday with me....I got a feeling that you will spend a lot of the day replaying .....Im just going to send you a cyber hug...and hope for some rest for you

Dear missing.....I am so sorry for your loss. And I completely understand about the birthday.....my dear husband died 1/16/15 and his birthday was 3/29 and it was a horrible day for me.....

I miss that man so much and am trying to hang in there, but damn it is so tough.

The trigger dates are the hardest. I try and plant something beautiful out in the yard as a remembrance now. I know it is very emotional, and I send you mega hugs.

I am sorry today is a sad day. The birthdays seem to be one of the toughest for me. Some years it has not been too bad, but last summer Cliff's birthday hit me very hard. It just will never be fair that he wasn't still around to celebrate them. I do understand the pain of missing them, and the feeling of the injustice of it all. It does get easier to bounce back from those trigger days, but we never forget them. Hang in there.....
