Glad you had a chance to sneak him in tea and chocolates! I inherently knew when they didn't put my hubby on any diet restrictions, "they" knew he wasn't going to make it. I gave in to everything he wanted, although I knew it wasn't in his best dietary interest. Ah, well.
At least we both respectively were with our beloved's when they passed. There are many out there that were simply taken without a chance to say good-bye. For this, I am forever grateful that I did have a chance and a few days to have my good-byes.
Big hug to you . . cry, vent and BTW, the cure to puffy eyes is . . . believe it or not . . . the rectum treatment for hemorrhoids ointment . they make it in cream/oil to apply or patches. They do wonders for my swollen under eye puffy black's!!
Big hug to you ms. puffy eyes . . . ditto from me. xo, Dayna
Please know you're not alone.
The people on this site are so kind and supportive, they've helped me so much in my grief.
Crying is okay, it really helps, so go ahead and cry.

Sending you big hugs.

The fight of your husband, and you on his behalf, was beyond courageous. Hang in there.
One moment at a time.
I lost my 31 year old husband to Cancer (tomorrow is my 3 month mark) within 7 months of being diagnosed. I too know the feeling of seeing the improvement and then in a flash they are gone. Unbelievable and not fair.... Its not fair and not how it was supposed to be.
Cry, cry and cry some more we all do
We are all here to help support you, through this overwhelming time.
Thinking of you and sending you warm hugs,
Sandra.
Thanks for all of you who have responded so far, I love DS for bringing people together when times are rough. I have been on DS for awhile with my own health issues, and just knew that the widows/widowers section would be equally great!
