I tried so hard today to get something accomplished, I put together a picture album of Jason, went for a ride with my daughter, went to the store, and crocheted a headband. My mind has been racing even though I tried to stay busy.
Tomorrow will be 4 months, I'm still numb, fog headed and have so, much on my mind. I miss hiss touch, his massages, him laying next to me, the constant text and calls from him and his carefree spirit.
He always til me don't worry about things you can't change. I wish it were that easy. On top of missing him and not being able to function like I did. I worry about losing our home, car, and paying bills. I am not working as of now, I had quit my job in August so, I could be with him more I went to work with him and we had the best time. Than he passed away two weeks after I quit.
He was a veteran and I have applied for spousal benefits and I have some insurance thats not paid yet. I'm hopeful I will be able to find work soon. I try talking to friends about it, but they don't understand. They have husbands and don't have to worry. The thought of losing my home that we worked so hard on and loosing him is all a kick in the gut. I miss my my old life and would give anything to have it back.

I was never particularly religious more so now than ever but Amy was.
There is a prayer called the Serenity Prayer that goes.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
Kind of what your Jason would tell you. I hope things work out for you and you don't lose anything more than you already have.
