Well, I think I accomplished something. My son was supposed to cook Christmas dinner today, but I ended up doing it.
I cooked a choice rib roast (for the first time), sweet potato casserole, Italian green beans with bacon (he did fry the bacon LOL), salad, a pumpkin pie, and a Mrs. Smith's apple pie.
And I did this one-handed, for the most part. I am out of the brace, but my hand and wrist are still very stiff.
Someone did shoot me a derogatory text, but I haven't responded - yet. I don't know how to defuse her.

P.S. A friend of mine is going to drive my car to an empty parking lot. We will see how I do. Of course I'm not going to plan any cross country trips...
