Our anniversary and my birthday came and gone. My daughter put this message on facebook on our anniversary day with a picture from the beginning of our marriage. It made me tear up.

"At 2 pm 38 years ago today, my parents said "I do" and started their lives as husband and wife. They worked so hard to give my sister and I the lives we have today. Mom you are the best mom and best grandma we could ever ask for. Dad I seem to miss you more and more every day."

Thank you everyone for your support. Each of our daughters has their unique bond with him. This daughter used to call her dad every day to just talk. She would tell him secrets but not to me. I had to hear it from him. They had their secret too. She revealed to me only after he passed away that his broken arm was kicked by the horse, not falling off the tractor like he told me. He didn't want me to get mad at the horse.

A father daughter bond is very special. I know, because I was lucky enough to have it with my dad and it's worth more than anything I could imagine. You're lucky to have both of them in your life. Sharon
