I don't post as much as I did when my husband passed away. It has been two years and two months. Time passes whether we want it to or not. I shared with you that I was giving up my house that I have been in over 21 years and was moving into a one bedroom, one bath that had become available in my daughter's building. Her condo was one floor above and is a two bedroom, two bath. Sometimes we want things so much that we end up grieving for that as well. Well, it fell through. It had been in foreclosure for five years an had a lot of problems involving the sell. I went into a depression, didn't eat, lost weight and prayed to the Lord to take the desire for this place from me. It was so perfect, too perfect. My home has four levels, 27 steps and I only live on two levels. This was on one level, in a elevated building with a balcony and a heated garage where I wouldn't have to park my car outside. The Lord worked it out and I am so grateful, that my daughter told me it would be an honor for me to stay with her until I decide I want to start looking again. In the meantime I have to make a decision on my home. I was in my living room visualizing all of the events my husband and I hosted for my grown children, our grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I went through the house where I had taken pictures before I started filling rooms with boxes to go to storage and saw my husband in every room. I never noticed as I did today how bright the house was. So as I pray daily for all of you, that you will gather strength to walk this new path, that you will be comforted and you will have peace. I solicit your prayers also as I go through a period of adjustment at the age of almost 76years old.
