Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
BTW, I'm not a big fan of M Day either for differing reasons. It's actually one of the most "dreaded" holidays of the year for me.
I hope that you will enjoy being with your daughters and have a nice day in spite of it all.
Hugs, D
I will see neither of my boys that day....youngest will be out of town but the oldest is taking me out Saturday night so that is all good.
This will be my 3rd MD without my sweet Mother and I still miss her more than I can put into words.
Enjoy your day with your daughter doing something that will make you both smile.
It is a difficult day for many of us and we all feel the pain.
Hugs

Wishing you peace - Doye
The people you want to be around are your children. You can cherish that day as a Mother. You will make some memories for your precious children.
Since she lost her husband, over the past twenty years, my MIL,has developed a root of bitterness in her heart. She has a heart of stone. it's so sad she has chosen to to cut herself off from her sons family. Loss can break a life or it can make a life worth living for a Purpose, even though it will never be the same!
Even though it will be Bitter/Sweet day, for you, please have a beautiful day, with your precious children. Life still goes on,albeit with some sadness.
Hugs.....and more hugs.......from one Mum to Another.......Sandra
