I can feel your pain through your brief post. I can feel it as I feel my own non-stop pain as well.
My wife has now been gone a little over four months. Still, last night I was sitting in a chair at our home and had the television remote control in my hand. I finished watching a very brief news program and, without turning my head, asked her if there was anything she wanted to watch. She didn't answer and I turned and looked at her
recliner and it was empty. I don't know how it happened but just for a few moments reality had escaped me. A mental pain and a physical pain hit me at the same time. It was though someone had just stuck a knife in my body while my brain was about to explode.
I lit a candle and placed it next to a photo of her. The candle is to maintain contact with reality while it also represents my love for her that is now deeper than ever before. Today, I stopped a bought a large box of candles. She loved candles.
Garry - Hang on tight with the attacks of pain. Just remember the pain exists only because of your love for her.. Never let go of that for even a moment.
You are in my prayers.
