I know how you feel, and I hate it, I miss him so much, his voice, his laugh, his hugs, his smells

Hugs to you. It will be a year in May since my Husband passed,and some days it still feel like yesterday. I miss his laughter so much.
Right after he passed,I would call his cell phone just to hear his message,I don't do that as much,but I know I can. I found some voice email messages from him at work that for some reason didn't get deleted. I had a very emotional moment when I listened to one , not a good thing to do at work. He was telling me something that he thought was extremely funny,so I got to hear his laugh again. There's eight messages,and I kept them in my private email,so I can listen to them at home. It's a bittersweet thing for me,but it's something.

Same here. Not being able to text him during the day or getting a big ole hug after a long day at work is the worst feeling. Hugs to you.

Indeed, the death of a loved one really sucks and now that you are deprived of the intimate cozy conversations it seems like too much to bare. You can still talk to him, he can hear you and you can talk to us. I know you said you could talk to him in a certain way that you can't with others and that hurts the most. Talk to him, you know what he would say if he was there with you. Ask yourself what would he say or do in a case like this. You'll get your answer. You knew him better than anyone else and he's still in your heart. Talk to him.

I know how you feel as I feel the same way every single day. I miss his voice, his hugs, his laughs, I just plain miss him so much. I lost my husband October 18 after 33 years of marriage. He was my everything. Hugs to you.

I feel the same. I miss telling him everything or complaining about my day or telling him my insecurities and him telling me how silly I am to feel that way, because he thinks I'm perfect.

I still talk to Cliff. In the early months, I would do so every night before crying myself to sleep, wrapped up in his old bathrobe. After 30 years of shared conversation, I felt like I would just about burst if I didn't talk to him. It is hard to adjust to the one-sided conversations. Eventually, I felt like I could hear him in my head, and that helped. And he visits in my dreams from time to time, too, and still does after all these years (he died 9 years ago).

It will get easier. Hang in there.
