Merry Christmas to all my friends. I had a really good Christmas with my entire family (less one). 18 of us. I love my family...After 3 years, we laughed all through it... Christmas is for children...

Thanks to all of you who have been a source of support. I continue to pray that 2016 will be the beginning of a blessed and prosperous year. We have the hope because of what we have come through. I especially pray for those who have recently experienced the loss of a loved one. It has been two years, four months. I never thought at the beginning I would make it to this stage in my grief, and please believe me it is still very real. Nobody can erase the many years spent together in two, five, ten or more. But we have been given so many added blessings and for that on this Christmas Day, I am so thankful. I continue to pray daily for all of us and the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Yesterday I spent my 12th Christmas with my husbands family. It was good until we did the tree and the tears flooded down my family. My husband passed away this last Nov 14th. It was hard but it was good and I'm glad I went. Happy Holidays to you all and our loved ones who are no longer with us but with us!

Just wanted to give an,update on,my Christmas. After a very rough morning I woke up in tears, fed the dogs sobbing then layed back down and tried to forget. But my mind went through all the wonderful holidays we had together. I decided to just face it and do what I could to spend the morning with her. So I came downstairs and watched the slides how from her wake twice, yes I cried and cried, the dogs did not leave my side. Then I took a shower got dressed and loaded up the car, I took the long way to my aunts. And spent a good 5 hours there eating, drinking laughing at all the kids and all their presents. All in all it turned out ok. I still miss my princess terribly though.

I woke up crying - 1st Christmas without my husband. My kids came over. My daughter was leaving to go to her boyfriends parents house for Christmas when she got a call saying they found her boyfriend dead in his room from an accidental overdose! I've cried all day while trying to take care of her son while she went to be with his family. What a sad 1st Christmas without my husband and how I miss having him here! Talking to him always helped me calm down. Now I'm worried about my daughter having to go through such a huge loss so soon after losing her dad! Praying things will get better soon.
