The sentence that resonates so strongly with me is "I see she is gone forever and with her the great glittering world the two of us held in our hands for such a short time. "
All the best. Anniversaries are so tough (I prefer your term deathiversary to angelversary by the way and, as an aside, note that one of the things I appreciate about this site is that I can even say thoughts like that out loud here)

I feel like it is part of my duty as her widow to keep her memory alive and remember her always. I appreciate the joys my wife and I had together. I will always fondly remember those times.
Oh, SandyVI," deathiversary" is a phrase that I made up as a partner to my wife's phrase "monthaversary" which was where we would have dinner date night and celebrate every night month anniversary we had been together, always on the third of the month.
The phrase "deathiversary" sounds like something my wife would say and what described the situation, the very real situation of the anniversary of your spouse's death. I just went through that on October 15 of this month and I'm still reeling.
I feel I need a word for this concept I use and am affected by so much and I like compound words. It is not meant in any way to be disrepectful, I use it in all due solemnity.
