It's hard to find any happiness when everything you held dear has been taken away. I also tried to keep focused on the fact that my husband was no longer in pain. He is home now. I totally believe that we are not the physical body, but the spirit of our beliefs and actions. Working in a hospital environment I am familiar with death. I don't see it as an end, but more of a transition from one state to another. We have won the battle over death and can now rejoice in life with the assurance we will also be called home when the time is right. Sharon

I just got a book off of the recomendation list here called "Proof of Heaven" by Eben Alexander, M D. It is about his near death expierence. It is really good. I have always struggled with my faith in God as in why do bad things happen to good people. But, reading this from his prespective is helping me with that. I want to believe that we will be together again and this book makes the case for that very well.
Death is not the end but, possibly a new beginning or even a going home to where we were before we were born.
We won't know for sure till we also take that journey, in the meantime maybe our hope and faith will half to do.
Also take strength from the posts here all of this good will and faith has to rub off on us a little. I know it has for me. My faith has gotten much stronger since my loss. mainly due to the people here.
