yes it could be. Labs are such sweet loyal family dogs. I am glad your daughter wants him. What did she name him?
Hope your day is a good one,
take care, Lucy
Glad you and Max found each other.
Hugs, Deanna
For us once we got semi settled into our home after our move, we got a Boston Terrier puppy and she was the best decision I had made. She gave us a reason to laugh as she did the silliest things and she was more than willing to cuddle when we needed a cuddle. That was fall a year ago, then this past December we got another Boston Terrier from a rescue, she was 4 months old at the time, now we have two cuddle pups and twice the laughter.
A pet, if you are ready for the responsibility, is great therapy and since we had lost our last pet, a white boxer just 2 months prior to my husbands death, well for us bringing another pet into the house was overdue.
I would say, your family received a blessing.
And to Violet1213 - Take a class; there are lots of them out there. Also make sure the puppy has chew toys, and give him lots and lots and lots of exercise.(Did I say lots?!) A tired dog is a happy dog - puppies need activity and training can be incorporated quite easily.
PS He may have some Corgi in him - they are herders and can be quite pushy :)
So now I just want to teach both dogs to walk on the leash nicely and not jump when I get home, I am not an expert so any bad habits that need fixed and good habits that need made I figure doggy classes are my best bet.
