Two months before Bob passed away we had a family reunion. His family and mine. He enjoyed it so much. His death came suddenly so that was not the reason for the reunion. I have a CD of the reunion. At the very end he is sitting on a straight chair and turned to say "Goodbye" We never knew what was coming. Each time I look at that I get teary eyed. By the way,, he loved to fish also. When he got stuck with a hook he would say "Dang it" I always knew what that was for.
I like the fact that you get to do things you enjoy, which is a great way to heal. But getting a hook out of a finger in the hospital? That's not my idea of a great day, but to each his own :)
