Long drives are still one of the things that usually reduces me to tears.  I am getting ready to leave for a 2 hour drive for work.  I can hear Rick now "Make sure you check the air in your tires and top up your windshield washer fluid before you go."  He usually would start those reminders 2 days before I left then end up just doing it for me because I would always put it off.  He would either go with me or call and talk to me the entire drive or phone me several times to check in.  I miss those phone calls.  I miss him taking care of me.  I miss him.  Going to be a hard day, I can feel it coming on.
