I found the song. Strong lyrics but I am certain it is something
most of us think about and worry about at times.
I thought about something today. My wife passed a little over
eight months ago after 30+ years together. What I thought
about was a year ago in early May of 2015. At that time, we
were preparing to go on a trip together and did so and it was
one she really enjoyed. I remember telling her at a point after
the trip that I wished things would slow down due to business pressures and other outside forces. I told her that all I was
looking for was " peace of mind ". Strange.
I think about telling her that specifically. I had absolutely no
idea that three months later on August 28, 2015, my world
would flip upside down and would never be the same again.
I have thought about life prior to that date. I had everything
any man could want. I had a wife that truly loved me
unconditionally and gave it everything she had. I had a wife
with whom I was still deeply in love after 30+ years together.
I had it all and already had peace of mind in the truest sense.
Now, I am waiting on dreams of her but my thoughts go to
the afterlife as it is my only chance or opportunity to ever see
her again. But I firmly believe she will be waiting one me. That
keeps me going and prevents me from giving up.
Blessings to you, Sue -

Please do not worry about that. He is waiting as they all are. He is in paradise. It is the same place we will all meet up until the final judgment day. There is no where else for him to be.
What has really helped me to deal with all this is I began to do some serious research on Heaven. There are sermons on the subject and you have to be careful for the fakes. The way you tell the difference is that if they can't back it up with scripture than it is simply their opinion.
I am reading a book now called Heaven. I forget the author's name, but I can send it to you if your interested in reading it. It is a realistic look at Heaven and the realities of what happens there on a daily basis and based upon scripture. It really picks up your spirit and relieves some of the sadness and grief to think about life after here.
Peace, Tim
