Love, love that quote. It's 7 months for me and I decided to move on and just try and be happy with what I have. I have 3 wonderful healthy daughters that need me. Tons of family and friends. Starting to make some long term plans like starting a home based pet sitting business. We have a wonderful dog and decided on a new puppy within a few months. I certainly have my sad moments, but not letting them control me.

I wish you luck with your goal. It is a good one to strive for. It won't be easy, but I think it is possible.

I know I am not there yet. I am smiling on the outside but profoundly sad on the inside. I feel lost and without direction most days. It sounds like you have a direction, and that is a good thing. I wish you well on your journey.

What an inspiration! Thanks for the share. I think we all come to a place or perhaps it's like an AHA moment when we decide it's ready to move on. Everyone's timing is different, of course . . but I do believe that we are co-creator's with the Universe, so a lot does depend on our attitude and decisions (goals). Great quote. Strangely enough I've been feeling the same way. Just went past the year marker so maybe that anniversary prompts us to take stock of how far we've come. I feel like I've been frozen for a year and now the thaw has started. It's time to start trying to live again instead of just surviving from day to day. I know it's what PJ would want but that doesn't make it any easier! Good luck to you and all of us traveling together. Liz

Thanks Silee! It's almost 8 months for me and that's my goal as well. I still have my days but I try to push forward MOST days. I have two kids that need me also, and I want them to have an emotionally strong mother. I know it won't be easy but I'm willing to try. I still miss him everyday. Thanks so much for your post I thought I was being unrealistic, thought I was moving too fast, thought my pity party should last longer. I've learned so much from everyone here. Thanks!!
