I was going to post this anyway, but because Sharon did recommend to let the tears flow, I just had to post this. I was told by a astrologist/psychic a few months after my husband past that "I had lived my life on an emotional level that few people could sustain". I had two friends that went with me and took notes. Of course in those early months we of course are looking for answers. I am a skeptic, but she was right on with that observation. I have always been in love with love. Having said that, I have been listening to tapes of one of my favorite singers. Her name is Jane Oliver. She sang the song "The Last Time I felt Like This" with Johnny Mathis for the movie "Same Time Next Year". You can also find her on you tube singing "Where There Is Love" and other songs. I have her music on albums and CD's, which surely reveals my age and how much I have admired her. Her voice was amazing. She lost her husband at a very early age and her life has certainly reflected her grief. She no longer performs. pj1952

PJ1952, I still avoid listening to music. Just seems to trigger the tears. Yes most of the time I just let the tears flow, but isn't it amazing how they seem to come from nowhere? All it takes is for someone to ask how I am doing. They can talk about anything else and I get through, but to ask me about me just opens the flood gates. When I got back from my trip and stopped in at work for a few minutes another agent said I looked well rested. I then lifted my sunglasses up to reveal the bags under my eyes and those there agreed, yep, still need sunglasses. Ha Ha, If they only knew how hard this journey is. And I hope they never do. Hugs to all, Michele

"Last Time I felt Like This" was always one of my favorites. I was a Johnny Mathis fan (my wife and I saw him in concert), but I never knew anything about Jane Oliver. Thanks for bringing her up, I think I will like a lot about her, and her music.

Slimbear, I think you will love Jane Oliver. Michele, For sure music triggers the tears, but why should we not listen to beautiful music?? I still cry every day and it has been three years. As horrible as this is, to just shut down is like a living death. Of course, I am still looking to heal so that I can also feel joy. My new therapist and I will be doing grief work. Unfortunately this is due to lack of the ability to share my grief with friends and family (none available). So glad I have "you guys". pj
