Anyone keeping up with the Las Vegas dialogue may know that I said I would put together the list of all the info I have and send it out hopefully on Sunday. Lo and behold - my electricity was off all day and I couldn't get on my computer - and ran out of ink yesterday and couldn't get to the store to get new ink because my daughter took my car since hers went into the shop yesterday - with the emails and some sent to my own email & others sent to DS it's just much easier printed out.

So today - there was huge thunder - the lights went out - and I thought - oh great another outage. After several hours I called ComEd and got the recorded message that said, "The number of people in your area affected by this power outage is - (pause.. different voice) - "one". I thought - you've got to be kidding me.

Several hours later I called again - this time - asked to speak to a representative - a human being. She told me "we are working on it". I asked "how many people have their power off?" and she responded, "actually you're the only one in the whole area".

So - I will get this list out - but it seems there are powers working against it right now.

My flight leaves at 6 am on Monday (when you want cheap that's what you get) so I guess I'll need to be at the airport at 4:00 am - AHH - maybe I won't go to bed.
