Everyone who reads my posts know the same about me to. My faith is all I have. But like you I have those weak moments to and it's O.K. God knows we will have those times where we stumble. Those are the times He carries us because we can't walk.
I have to stay focused upon the above or I will sink to far down. I'm also a member of the Widow/Widower of faith board. It really does help.
On that board we had a discussion about being under attack by Satin. He takes advantage of people going thru trauma and takes away or tries to take away your hope.
But we are all only human and weak in the flesh, don't worry God understands exactly what we're going thru.

I always thought Dan and I would go together because of a dream I had before he died. I guess it was just that, a dream. I believe in the Lord above and know that there are others who have suffered more than I, but I do find myself questioning him...Why? Did I do something wrong in my life to deserve losing someone who loved me so much? I then realize that I can't question Him because the life I have has been blessed, especially with my daughter. I too believe that I will see Dan again in one form or another. Till then, I will continually talk to him and tell him I love him and miss him. I feel if I continue to do this, he is in my life till it's my turn to go.

I get on here alot talking about the Lakota belief that we do not die, that when we pass from this life it is a continuation of the Spirit Journey we all will make...most of the folks here are of the Christian faith, as am I, but maybe they don't see how a Christian could also embrace the Lakota belief.
I absolutely do believe that Jesus Christ is the only-begotten Son of God, while at the same time I believe as the Lakota, that the Spirit never dies.
As for "going-together", I urge you to see a movie called "The Notebook", the last movie of the great James Garner...that's all I'm going to say about it, because I strongly want everybody to see this very beautiful movie.

My husband and I used to kid about how we were going to go together. We were married 50 years 19 at the time we married. I have no doubt we will be together again. We watched the "Notebook" together, which I forced him to do. He said that's great if only it could be like that.
Patricia: I know what your saying, my husband and I built a great life together. He was alive one minute and gone the next (6/14/15). He was kind of a skeptic, but I and our daughters have had so many signs I know I'll see him again. I miss him every minute of everyday!

Hey Eighty Eight,
When people ask me if I'm religious I tell them no Christian.It confuses them. Until I explain that to my belief being religious is going by man's traditions and being Christian means that I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. And there is the difference. Following those teachings are the same as you speak of making the spiritual transition into the spirit world. I totally believe in that transitional period. The Bible tells us to be absent from the body is be present with the Lord. Which means that death was defeated by the work of Jesus and we simply move into another dimension. So as a Christian I'm on board with what your saying and I appreciate the teachings you speak of form your wife.
