Ken's Birthday forgot his age

I feel so bad tonight. Today would have been . Ken's 67th birthday. It kept niggling at me all day I even posted a picture of him on my FB wishing him a "66" th birthday in heaven. I just can't believe I forgot his age.
Its really bugging me.
Anyone else done this ?
He was 61 when he passed 5 years ago in March.

Lois, I always have to stop and think about it because he will be forever 55 to me - that's how old he was when he passed. When I hit my 56th birthday, that was a hard one -- I never imagined I would live longer than he did. It feels weird in a way.

Anyway, yeah, I do have trouble sometimes remembering how old he would have been. For me, he is 'forever young.'

Hey Lois,
I believe the main thing is that you remember him. The love you two share means more than age. Even though I know what you mean.

Yes,

I think of J.R. as forever 41. I have to stop and think. Yesterday my brother called and asked me when my father was born. I couldn't remember if he was July 19 or 22. J.R. and his birthdays were so close together. I finally remembered but it took me a minute. I just couldn't pull it out of my head.
