Tomorrow is my daughter's birthday. Her name is Katey and she will be 12 years old. Only about  10 weeks ago or so my wife was so excited about planning for her birthday. All the usual suspects will be here on Saturday.  My wife Tracey  died about seven weeks ago. Today, Katey and I went shopping for her birthday. Went to party plus  and picked up all the little goodies that mom was supposed to do. I had to wear my sunglasses as I was crying throughout all the aisles. What am I going to do when everybody starts singing happy birthday?  About a week before Tracy died she had me run out and buy a bunch of birthday cards so she could fill them out  for years to come. I knew she did not have the strength to do that, but I went out and bought them anyway. I  handed the cards to her  but she was too weak and sick  and she knew that she could not do it. I threw the cards away a few days later after she died. If only I had bought those cards a few days earlier. My wife always called Katey " Baby Girl"  just to know I would never hear that again, just kills me inside.  I love you Tracy!  Dave
