This grief stuff is really getting to me these days. Oh, the roller coaster of grief. Ups and downs, lots of downs these days, but try to put on a happy face at work just to come home to hit the couch after the work day ends. Weekends present another issue with avoidance to cleaning, order, and doing much of anything to keep the place up. I would not allow a person in this door to see the mess. And, what is just around the corner? Here comes another holiday without my husband or the numerous family members that I have lost since John's passing. In past times, the house would have been full of happy people enjoying family and food. Now, it will stand empty except for my little dog and me. I feel like I am just stumbling through life, no purpose, just surviving. Someday, maybe I will get on the other side and start to enjoy life again. I can't imagine when, or if, that will ever be since I can't let go of the old or get on with the new. It's one thing to know what you need to do or think, but quite another thing to actually feel it. I just don't feel it. I am tired, oh so very tired, of missing what I had and envying those who still have it. I am stuck in a rut and hate it.

It's going on four months now and it hasn't gotten any easier for me, i miss her so very much, and I flipping can't stand people who tell me to be grateful for having 26 years with her, they are driving me crazy. It went by so very fast and they just don't understand how we feel.
i cry just a little almost every day, and i think i always well. But that's ok, i don't mind crying for her.
Our suffering is part of THIS life. It will not exist in the next: crying, sorrow and pain will be gone if you are saved. Acts2:38/Acts 22:16
I know household tasks are the worst to look to. Alone in them feels like futility. Every object I see seems meaningless actually. I hope you will cope better. You KNOW YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
