Another unexpected trigger. A very formal letter from Sherrif's department arrived calling Glenda in for Jury Duty.

And the Court may impose a penalty for not appearing. Good Luck with that!

For me, it was the pharmacy text reminder that it was time to refill his prescription. You mean the one that didn’t work??

I have plenty but the best one (or worst) was the day after Ira passed in the hospital from a heart attack, the cardiologist office called me at 9:30 that morning reaming me a new a hole because we didn’t show up for his appointment! Suffice it to say that I had a few choice words for her and she couldn’t apologize enough… SMH…
Just to add insult injury I called back and canceled his second appointment for the following day, just in case… Talk about a dog with it’s tail between it’s legs, hopefully she learned a lesson.

I have had similar incidents as the above, like the gal at the bank saying he had to go in and sign before I could have his name taken off the account! (This is in reference to my other late husband.) She must have been chewing bubble gum and playing on her cell phone because I had just explained what happened. The stories could go on and on...
