It finally happened. Yesterday was the first time in three months since my husband died I didn't cry. It may be a small victory but it's a victory none the less.

Good for you. I remember the early days and yes that was huge. You will find that you may have a few of those days in a row and you see light at the end of the tunnel. Don't despair if you have bad days as well. That is all part of this hellish roller coaster. But when you experience a good moment or even a entire day know that your love is looking over you and happy for you as well. I wish you peace. Hope today is another good day.

Amazing isn't it? I would have thought myself incapable of the torrents of tears. But it was those uncontrollable sobs from the depths of my soul that seemed to help me the most. As time goes on, you will find the waves of grief get spaced farther and farther apart, and then one day you'll take notice that they haven't hit in a while, and then it becomes a long while. Nothing worse than the healing of a broken and wounded heart. Glad you are here. This is a good place for all of us. ~~~ Scottie
