He also owned a 2009 powder blue Ford Focus and ever since I sold his car, almost every time I turn around there's a Focus following me or parked along my route to work. I have one parked by my house, two where we used to live, and periodically they show up by the mall close to me. I've even seen them in small towns that are known for their F150s, Chevys and GMCs.
Two more strange occurrences. One day I lost my temper, as my stepdaughter had left to be with her brother and I was left alone to deal with packing up his stuff. I was scared, angry and sad and said aloud: "I'm not caring about people anymore! What's the point of loving anybody because all they ever do is abandon you." Suddenly the clock fell off our wall. I looked at the clock. It wasn't broken. The nail in the wall was as sturdy as ever. No heavy truck traffic could've gone by because I would have heard it. Instinctively I knew it was Al telling me to stop it (he hated my black moods.) I proceeded to apologize and sob on the couch.
Lastly, I underwent something called Bowen Therapy for shoulder and back pain I was feeling. The lady treating me told me most of my pain was emotional and don't be surprised if a lot of emotions bubble up to the surface in the next 48 hours. She wasn't kidding! I got so upset and angry I proceeded to pick up a vial of my husband's ashes and call him an jerk for leaving me and say I'd never have fun ever again in my life. I got up the next morning and there was a message from friends of Al's and I asking if I was ok because they received a phone call from me with no answer on the other line at about midnight, right when they were going to bed. I called them back and said I was fine and asleep when they called. My friend goes, "I received two calls with your number coming up on my call display in the span of five minutes, with silence on the end. I thought you were in trouble." I didn't think anything of it until she said. "I thought maybe your husband was phoning me." I suddenly realized I couldn't rule the possibility out. I have a cat but redial on my phone requires a certain sequence of buttons that a cat couldn't likely hit by accident twice in a row. And these friends are always a lot of fun to be around. The only conclusion I can draw is Al was trying to ask them to help me enjoy my life again.
So yes, you're not the only one MeggyK. Like Carla, I don't do drugs or drink or take prescription medication.I never completely believed in this stuff until now and if anyone can explain the odd things happening any better, I'd be glad to hear it because it's simply too much coincidence for me to write off. I bet your husband, like mine, is trying to tell you he loves you. A big hug to you. And a thank you for having the guts to share this. It's not something a lot of people understand or want to share. I've been dying to tell people about this without being thought of as a lunatic.
small lamp next to my computer that I use daily & have his pictures on the table. Just out of the blue the lamp will flicker when I'm on the computer. Sometimes it's a quick flicker & other times it goes on like the bulb is going to burn out but comes right back on. Sometimes it won't do anything for days.
On Veterans day (Larry was/is a Marine) I was on the computer & had the radio on. The show I was listening to was playing each of the tunes for Army/Navy etc. when the Marine tune came on the light started flickering right away.. I know it was him
