Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.

DS seems to have made good on their notification that the login/password fix is in place - I was able to login directly this morning with no issue - yippee! (i did have to send them a couple emails for my own individual account though - hopefully they can do a blanket tweak across the board!)
Though i'm not sure i'm crazy about aspects of the "improved" site - it doesn't feel as intimate or even as intuitive as before - without access to mutiple members, connecting through individual personal emails might feel too isolated and narrow - not to mention difficult to physically attain.
Through reaching out, here in fact, and through the grace everyone has extended by replying and reading, I've learned grief can be comforted well by fellow grievers at different stages of the process. i don't have to isolate myself in my own crazy shroud.
I hope everyone, who's willing or even able to log on, will find the patience to go thru the tweaks DS has to put in place to migrate successfuly. But how many will get to read this one plea from a member who's missing all the virtual souls she's recently come to know and treasure?

I was just reading some posts on the DS community members group (I see it under Currently Trending, or something like that when I hit Support Groups at the top of my page) More fixes have been made and a number of other issues have been raised. I encourage everyone to go there and add a note on what isn't working for you. They do seem to be listening.
Sorry, Nanne. Didn't mean to hijack your post...just hope everyone will have patience with the site and stick together.
and re: spacing & paragraphs: we can read between the lines- we can see your thought processes, you express yourself very well. (interesting about the funeral home/ church...good for you'all...indeed, it's all about the people and shared community of spirit.
