I lost my husband 14 days ago. I have no words just tears and questions. He was 46 and I'm 31. How do you say I love you goodnight to the next morning he was gone. I took him off life support on friday December 1st. I'm so mad sad and everything in between. I just don't understand

Im sorry for your loss. I lost my wife oct 29 and I am also having a really tough time dealing with it. It doesn't seem real

My sincerest condolences to you. I lost my husband 7 months ago to cancer. He was 61 and I am 45 we have 2 kids of which 1 is only 11 years old. Each day is a struggle I try to make sense of it all. I loved that man so much...just take it day by day moment by moment.

I am so sorry you had to join this site. You will find support here. The site unfortunately has recently been redesigned and is not as user friendly. But if you can, read older posts and replies. People here have all lost their loves and we do go on. Never stop missing them but finding strength each day to survive and eventually as you heal, finding moments of joy and reasons to engage in life again. You will go through the pain and believe me it isn't easy but you will get through it. The pain will ease with time. There is help, local bereavement groups, Griefshare, Soaring Spirits international are all good places to seek out. Day by day, moment by moment is the best way. Sending you hugs and wishes of peace. This is so raw, isn't it? You're in shock. Although I don't understand YOUR particular pain, I absolutely can relate. My 49 year-old husband passed 3 weeks ago today to cancer. I had to remove him from life support, too.

Please send me a friend request if you need to vent. I understand if you're not ready. I'm not sure from day to day where my head is. My husband was only sick for 20 days that we knew.

I'm so very sorry for your loss and your pain and your grief.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know the knot that's in your gut right now. I was a widow at 37. My best advice for you is to put one foot in front of the other. Some days you may have to tell yourself to do it. And if it provides a distraction- do it. You just have to make yourself keep going right now. I know how exhausting it is. Being around family helps. And just a warning- there will be opportunists who will try to take advantage of your grief. Be careful who you allow around you right now. I'll say a prayer for you for peace.

I agree. It doesn't make sense - it never does. And I'm so sorry that it happened. I imagined you felt you were robbed from your life and your happiness, and that's exactly what happened.
