Lois, wow. SO sorry about your problem. I know exactly what you mean. Any kind of health issue drives the loss of our husband so much deeper. I've been dealing with health problems recently. It seems like forever, just trying to manage myself and get medical care, etc.
It is very different living alone, compared to when we had our loving husband with us, isn't it?
My last 2 months' struggles seem like a whole year to me, all by itself.

So sorry you are going through these struggles without you love. It must be very difficult. My great grandmother had glaucoma. I was very young when she passed so I don't remember her very well. However, I do remember that she was exceptionally sweet. My mom told me that she was so sweet because couldn't see with her eyes so she saw with her heart. :)

There should be some device that would test your coffee temperature without sacrificing your fingertips! It's dreadful that your fingertips have to be burned in the quest for a good temperature of your coffee.
