I havent posted in a while. I felt that I may not have been in the right place at the time to be helpful. One of the members did reach out to me several times and I am forever greatful. I post today because I wanted to share something with all of you.

I dreamed that Tony and I were on the bayouside ( I am from Louisiana so all water is a bayou :) ) We were fishing. Next thing i know i am floating away from him on a raft. There were all sorts of ugly creatures all around me. I started to yell for him but as i floated farther away my voice became non exsistant. I made no noise although i was screaming for him. I was terrified. He came for me and pulled the raft back to the bank. I told him how scared i was and he looked at me with those sweet eyes of his and said "You are alright I have you baby"

I have questioned whether or not he can hear me or see me. I wanted to know that he was somewhere near. In my beliefs I think that was his way of telling me he is not far away and he is still watching over me.

Today has been full of confirmations that I needed so badly. I do hope you all are having a better day than your yesterdays. I wish peace and comfort for you all. Thanks for letting me share this.,

Angela, your dream is such a beautiful metaphor for your unbreakable connection to Tony. I choose to believe that it wasn't wishful thinking on your part but evidence of the powerful, invisible, and binding power of the love you two share. May all of us be able to experience from our mates the reassurance and comfort that Tony sent to you.

I too believe that your dream was Tony's way of saying he's still protecting you. I am of the belief that our loved ones can hear us and they communicate with us in a different way now. Some of the people around me say "no way that can be true, Its something we make up to comfort ourselves" I say they are the ones that don't understand. The day my husband passed I spoke with him on the phone for a very short period of time. We often did these short conversations through out the day to keep in touch. On any average day when ending our talk we would say I love you. On the day he died as we were ending our conversation neither of us said I love you.... I have had such guilt for not saying that. I didn't even consciously omit the words but for some reason they weren't said. That has weighed on me for all this time. It still brings me to tears. The guilt will always be with me.

a few weeks after his death I was laying in bed asleep. I heard the jingle of his keys as I always did when he got dressed for work. I then opened my eyes and saw him standing in our bedroom doorway in his uniform. I right away sat up and said good bye, I love you, have a good day at work. He turned to me and said "I love you too". I woke up in tears but somehow just knew it was him. I swore I was awake through the whole thing. I have told this story before and some say it was my minds way of comforting me because my subconscious needed to hear that. I disagree.. Embrace that message from your husband and look for others along with way!! Hugs to you

I'm happy you had those beautiful experiences. I too believe Bob is very close at all times and always has been. Hold onto your dreams, visions, signs, feathers, pennies. They are a source of comfort. They are all real in my opinion. Love and Hugs, Dolores

I am glad that you were comforted by your dream. That is my prayer for you and the others each day--that you will know real comfort. Isn't it good to have had such a powerful love in your life. Some people never have a gift like that. The beauty of it is: It is real. You never have to let go of that special love. No matter what things the future brings, that past and that love are yours.

I have dreams about my husband all the time. I believe he is still right next to me I just can't see him. However, in my dreams he shows up. I have some wonderful times with him in my sleep.
