I have been searching my home EVERYWHERE for the past 4 months for my husbands wedding ring. He hadn't been able to wear it for quite some time.. he lost a lot of weight and it was too big for him to wear.
I've cried, looking up to the heavens all this time asking him to tell me or show me where I could find it.
Saturday afternoon, I believe he did just that !
I have this neat jewelry organizer that is hung on the back of my bathroom drawer... I only keep my cheap, costume jewelry in it, all my good jewelry is kept in a safe place so I've never bothered to look for it there, as I wouldn't have put it there
Well, I was getting ready to go out Sat. and went looking for a pair of earrings to wear, so I started to look thru this organizer thing.. found earrings to wear, and looked down further in a compartment that holds rings.... and there it was! I know that I certainly didn't put it in there.. Mark must have put it there figuring it was a good place for it as it was with other rings. You have no idea how happy I am to have final found his ring. I had a happy, mini meltdown, if there is such a thing, and his wedding ring is now in a safe place with all the other good jewelry

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

So, Get ready and do your happy dance, shake your boot'ay and kick your heels. Smile that you have that piece in possession again.
Jewells.
I am glad you found your hubby's ring. I was fortunate that Cliff and I both wore 2 rings as one of them he was buried in - the one from our wedding day with the engraving inside from me to him and the date. We couldn't get it off him, and somehow I knew he would prefer to be buried in it. The second one was from when we exchanged rings again and renewed our vows. I still have that one on a chain.
Love and Hugs,
Martha
