After 5 months of my husband passing, I finally took the step to order his headstone. I was very emotional yet glad that I jumped this hurdle. This is one hard journey and I just pray that it will get easier one day...

I ordered my husband's grave marker a month after he passed and it was put in about 2 weeks ago. I visited the cemetery today and it was the first time I saw it. I felt emotional seeing it. Looking at his name, birth date and date of death set in stone made me feel that he really is gone.

I am glad that you got over that hurdle. I have my husband's ashes and when my sons and I are all together again, we will scatter them. That may take awhile because one of my sons is in the military and is currently thousands of miles away. However, when the time is right, we will do it.
