I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my husband four weeks ago to AML and I am lost and feel like I am numb most of the time. I am back at work but have hard time concentrating. It will take a very long time to get back to any type of normal life. I will pray for you. If you need to communicate I will be glad to it will help me also. GOD bless you.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's been just over 3 weeks for me. I met him with I was 22. Together for nearly 18 years, he was only 48

I am so sorry for you devastating loss. I won't lie this will be the toughest journey you will ever travel but know all of us here are with you in your grief. I lost the love of my life 6 months ago and although I have made some progress in this work of grief it is still raw and very daunting. Please come here as often as you need to and you will find you are not alone in this awful predicament we are all in. I hope this group gives you some hope and comfort as it has for me. ~Pete

I am so sorry for your loss...and I understand the feelings of hopelessness...I lost mine just over 5 months ago to liver disease...we were married 19 1/2 years, together nearly 22. This is a good place to express your feelings, and everyone here understands what you are going through..

Dear Aba: I am so sorry for your loss at such a young age. I am so glad you found this site right away. My Art passed May of 2014 and I did not find it until a few months down the road. You have found the most supportive and loving bunch who all get what you are going through. I thought I was losing my mind but after joining, I realized I was not alone. Neither are you! The first few days and months are painful. Take care of yourself the best you can. Try to eat and get rest. You will need all the energy you can get to get through this horrible journey. Bless your heart! You are in my prayers. This is a long hard journey. But you are not alone. We all have been on this journey for different lengths of time. And all of our situations are different. Be we all are grieving in our own way. I'm so sorry for your loss! I choose to turn my heart to cling to God. It has really helped me thru a lot. Cry when you need to, tears are a gift to help us release our emotions. So sorry!

Thank you all for the support. It's still so fresh so I feel like I'm dying inside. I'm angry, sad, and miss him and what could've been. This is the hardest thing I've ever been through but I can say I would go through it all over again if it meant I got to spend the time I had with him. I need all the support I can get. He was my entire life and now I don't see how i can go on. I just want to go with him. if any of you can privately message me to speak I would love that. No one around me understand this pain. They sympathize but they can not empathize.
