I know there is tremendous truth in what you say. My wife had major surgery 5 months before she passed fighting cancer. While on the operating table she was clinically dead for a short period because she lost so much blood. When she recovered she also described a journey to heaven where if she didnt come back she knew she would be dead but desperately wanted to stay there. Was wife was very private when it came to spiritual matters and never talked like that so I knew it was absolutely true.

Near death experiences are so widely reported that there can be no further doubt. I myself have had the experience, so although I know what I know, I seek no converts. All I know is that I returned a different person - more knowing, more compassionate, and I am filled with love and gratitude for all of creation.

Gerald, how beautiful, thank you for sharing. I have a cousin just placed on hospice, early 60's, such a terrible fight, cancer. We fought 6 years.

My husband never discussed it with me, but I know my mother had a near death experience and I know too that it was a very powerful experience for her. I definitely believe in the afterlife and that the spirits of our loved ones protect us here on earth. Too many instances of things happening in the house after my husband passed for me not to believe he is still watching over me.

I am on the lists, believers and survivors...I am here for now.

My mother-in-law, mom, grandmother, and another in-law all had this experience, either seeing the gates, or seeing an angel shortly before they transitioned. I am a believer. My husband leaving is only a temporary separation. I know there are no husbands and wives in heaven and that it is so much better than anything we have on earth.

I'm excited beyond words.

Shortly after my husband transitioned, he came to me in a dream. I've always had a hearing problem, often getting comical words out of things never said. My husband and I used to laugh about it. Anyhow, in the dream he came to me wearing white robes. He was so excited. I knew it was a visitation in the dream, so I asked what was it like? He told me that he'd been studying nawee. I woke up then, writing this unfamiliar word down. Later I spent hours on the internet, trying to figure out what it was. Finally, I realized I'd had another one of my mishears. He hadn't said nawee. He'd said Yahweh. In all my years I had never used this Name for God.

Thank you so much for sharing this. It hurts so much to be separated from them, but these experiences remind us of the joy that eventually will come. Sometimes, it just seems so far away, but knowing, makes the pain bearable.

Interesting, since I started telling people what happened, most are sharing what happened to one of their relatives or themselves, things they never talk about unless its brought up. I have heard to many more stories much the same, love it.

one of the last comments I made to my wife was "its not goodbye, its see you later"....I believe that with all my heart and soul.

My husband also expeirences the gates of heaven during the time he was in a coma. He saw his grandmother and cousin and friends who had died and they looked beautiful and young and vibrant. He said that he could hear the angels singing it was so beautiful like the most fantastic singing you have ever heard in your life but better than that. He said that thee was a beautiful and warm light and you felt so good in that light and everyone was happy and laughing and when he woke up he was so devastated and wanted to go back. He stayed with me for 18 months, before finally passing away..I know he's happy and content where he is now.
