Heavens heart, I know just how you feel!! Bob died after fighting Leukemia for a year! He was my whole world! We loved to do everything together. We ate out a lot and now when I get off work and come home to an empty house, there is no one to eat out with.
I don't like going to restaurants alone. All I need is to see a sweet couple together and I could fall apart!! It is hard living alone. I am trying to honor the Lord even though He took Bob home.i know he loved Jesus and he is in heaven. That gives me peace. God is good! I trust Him! I am clinging to Him now! He will get us thru this!!

Why do the special ones get taken so soon?

Heavens heart, I lost my husband 11 weeks ago today. Doesn't seem possible that I haven't withered up and died yet. I miss him more than words can describe and I too cry. For the loneliness, the conversation, just that he is not here though he is in a far better place. My heart is broken. We were together 40 years and had not planned this for our future. I can say that joining this support group has been the best thing I did. These people get it! They have been there, or are here and are truly compassionate and understanding. I am so very sorry for your loss and you being here, but you are not alone. Big hug to you, Michele

So sorry for the loss of your husband from brain cancer. My husband also died from stage iv cancer. Felt like we were so blindsided with such a sudden diagnosis. How could someone be hiking 13 miles one day and a few days later be told you are dying. Every day is so precious, a gift. My husband was always positive and said life is short. I miss him every day.

I am so very sorry for your loss as one who also experienced the loss of my husband. His passing came 10 short weeks after being diagnosed with lung cancer. He was receiving hospice assistance yet the reality of our situation eluded me. I think I refused to truly believe that this was real. The disbelief followed me the first months he was gone. I am glad you found us. It was a life line for me as I struggled with each day and often each moment. Sharon

I'm so sorry for your loss...my husband passed in March, only 2 months after being diagnosed with end stage liver disease...we knew he was ill, but we didn't know how bad it was...it was like he was here one minute, and gone the next

Thank you all for your support and comments. Today was an easier day than yesterday - this is a journey I didn't expect to be on. I am holding on to Jesus and he is giving me peace in the storm.
There is so many things I miss about our life together - he was so encouraging, loving and kind. My special man
