Maggie, a grown son who he never knew now has a relationship with his Grandma and she thinks he should have it. I met him and he is a very nice guy, that however does not mean that I need to give him something that holds sentimental value to me, also he has never even "seen" the ring, it shouldn't hold meaning for him.
Having said that, I may have considered it if I had got to know the Son and developed a relationship. Remember he NEVER knew his Dad.
If the son himself asks than deal with that than - there are other things such as a photo he may want of him -
As you said - this ring is between you and him no other.
I pray your life is now happier and you find joy in your new relationship. Love Ann
Just saying
Brenda
Wishing you better days ahead.........hugs
Like everyone else said - don't even open the letters - they will just make you upset. Anyone who would act this way is not going to come to their senses and write anything you want to hear. Perhaps you should even put - "send back to sender" so they know you will no longer read anything from them. I would be tempted to tell aunt -you are apparently out of you mind and not in touch with reality there is no point in my reading or responding to you in anyway.
Like someone else said - save the letter and change your phone or cell phone number. If they send another - I would consider bringing it to police and ask for their advice.
They are off the wall and uncaring. No one else deserves the ring - legally, morally or emotionally. Take a deep breath and relax on the couch with the remoe.
