Sounds like a sign to me. Four months after my father died on their wedding anniversary my mother turned on the vacuum and the diamond from the necklace my father had torn off her neck 3 Years Earlier clanked up the vacuum. My mother turned off the vacuum and it fell onto the ground.

This was the last gift my father had given her and my mother was devastated when it was lost. We tore that house apart looking for it. My sister (who lives 12 hrs away) said, "I'm surprised it was on the floor all those years." Hello - - This was not on the floor for 3 years!! I was the one who went over and helped clean this house.

The "fake" diamond my husband gave me years ago (and I hadn't seen in a few years) suddenly turned up in my daughter's new purse that she bought a month before. This ring had a particular significance and "history" to it that my daughter was totally unaware of - she didn't even know what it was. I hope my ring was a sign too - there's no explanation for how it ended up in the bottom of her purse - especially since I'm the only one who knew it was something special.

I've had a bad day too - being off of work today was to be my "nice" day but I find I'm not always in a great mood when I'm home alone. I feel a little better after reading your comment.

Astounding.

I had a mother's ring show up after it was missing. My daughter and I combed the house looking for it and we gave it up as lost. Suddenly one day, it was on a shelf by the sink in the kitchen. It was not there before. I see these signs as a gift that we are still being loved and looked after.
