I am so sorry that this is hurting you. I know of no other pain that has such a tremendous effect than the passing of a close beloved one. Bless that his birthday is still in your heart, as a treasured day, to think of him with special caring memories. I am confident that he is very proud of you for avoiding strong drink. Have you family to draw near to? Or, perhaps, a strong face-to-face support network of friends sharing in grief. There are so many resources available for those dealing with personal matters such as your own. It matters that you counsel with others. Many are glad to comfort you. And your husband would never want that you compel to the pain of open wounds of sorrow. I pray for you a remarkable healing, and that you will multiply with courage and daily strength to carry you through the tough times ahead of you. Much love & best to you for coming in to share your story. Welcome to the care of those of us who are going through the conflicts of grief as well. Many warm hugs I send to you. A mighty blessing to you! And the love you shared with your husband is still nearby. Only the sad thoughts are what's a challenge to you. There is hope for a change though. A gentle difference will come in time. Do stay hopeful. I will hope for you as well. I hope for the better days of healing to soon come for you.
