I thought I could be strong but I am struggling today. Today is my husband's birthday. The second one I have faced with out him so this time I thought I could handle it. UGH!!! I was wrong. Im an emotional mess. Trying to focus on work and the daily stuff but all I really want to do is be with him. I miss him. I miss everything about him. Dang this is harder than I thought.

so sorry for you. I haven't had to face the birthday yet. I did have to face the holidays which were hard. Know you have friend here. hugs Arlene

Hi Lisa, oh I know exactly how you feel...on Valentine's Day my son came over and gave me a card...I felt like my heart would break even further...is that possible? For every day I live until I die, I will miss my man...and I know YOU know how I feel!

Lisa, Can I say, I totally get trying to focus on things, and keep busy. What if you just let it out, and gave into it. would it be so bad, to have a good cry day. I know I had one yesterday, I am there you, my husband 2nd year heavenly birthday is coming up. Why not go out, and have a nice dinner, in celebration of him no longer suffering here on this earth. Thats what we did, we went out to his favorite restaraunt, and ate, and just said what we remembered about him. I ot him a card, and wrote a special note inside of it. Its ok to have a bad day, just because its 2 years doesnt make it less emotional, sometimes as they say the 2nd year is the worst. Dont be so hard on yourself, your entitled to be sad, and cry.
