My husband also died suddenly. I am sorry for your loss. I know you are in shock and disbelief. The why's and should haves must plague you. There are no words I can say that will take away your pain and grief. Know that here on DS you are not alone. This has been a Godsend to me. The wonderful people here have offered comfort, understanding, support and friendship. It has been a safe harbor to express my feelings and know they will be understood amnd related to by others here. My sincere condolances, God bless you.

Thanks, it just that it was so unexpected, our son graduated last friday as a Physical Therapist and Gets Married next weekend. These are things we were suppose to be able to share and I can't imagine the Wedding next weekend without him that is gonna be so hard.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my husband 5 months ago. You are still in a very raw state, don't try to think more than 5 minutes ahead. You will get the support you need here with us.

My condolances for your loss. You are very freshly new in this journey no one wants to take. You have come to the right place as everyone here has lost a loved companion, and truly knows your pain. They have been such a big help esp. with me I live in a rural area going to a grief support group was nil.

My husband also died of sudden heart attack while in CO (we live in WA) where he was seeing his Mom in nursing home.

You are normal what you are going through, your intitial shock is wearing off somewhat, facing the reality the first few months is tough, many first as you go along are tough but right now take good care of yourself, emotionally as best you can, but physically.

You can come here vent, cry whatever these people here understand. I know the wedding will be tough so close, but come here and let it out. HUGS

My husband died unexpectedly of heart problems as well. I am at about the 3 month mark and can tell you while the grief seems never ending the days do get better. This is a wonderful place (too bad I didn't find it sooner!) to come and be yourself - and when people say they understand how you feel - they really do.

Andree', so sorry for your loss. Welcome to the club that none of us wanted to join. This is a very kind and caring group and many of us are early in the journey. I lost my husband in December after a long illness. You can vent and cry and ask any questions that you want. We have all been helped and we want to help you, too.

It is hard to comprehend that one day they are here and everything is right and suddenly with no warning our lives as we knew them are changed so drastically. It is a lot to take in and deal with. I am glad you found DS it has been my safe place for a long time. I am very sorry for your loss!

My son was married 7 weeks after my husband died and the day was bittersweet. Happiness and sadness went hand in hand.

My husband died very suddenly at age 57 4 months ago. His granson, named after him, was born two months ago. Bittersweet indeed! Come here often and know you are in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. My dear husband passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on May 4, 2010 - almost a year ago. He had just turned 52 also. It was the most devastating thing that I had ever experienced. I was so lucky to have found DS - the support, understanding and friendship that I have found here has been invaluable to me. I can only hope and pray that you find the same. I hate to have to welcome you to this group - as the price that you had to pay to become a member is the highest, but I am glad that you have found us.

This month has been difficult for me once again - it's like one step forward and three steps back as my husband's birthday is next Friday, the one year mark is May 4 and then his daughter is getting married May 7th. So I truly understand what you're feeling.
